I’m going around for removal consultations, but since I don’t really have any major issues right now, as expected, they don’t really recommend complete removal. But my septum is deviated right now, so the columella looks a bit deviated too. Not a lot, just slightly. When I touch inside my nose, one side protrudes a bit more. I don’t have any particular discomfort. At other hospitals, I didn’t hear anything about septum and columella correction, but at one place I heard that I need correction. If I remove all the extended material and reposition the cartilage so it settles into place, wouldn’t it be somewhat okay? Do I absolutely have to get correction?
