10 years ago I had Gore-Tex and ear cartilage, and now my nose is crooked and upturned, so I’m looking into revision surgery. I’ve gone in person to more than 30 places, and right now I’m leaning toward one clinic. What I like about it is that they do septal reconstruction. I think one reason a nose can look pretty at first after rhinoplasty but gradually become more upturned as time passes may be because the septum isn’t strong enough. They said they would reconstruct the septum with autologous costal cartilage, change the silicone on the nasal bridge, and use autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip. But because there’s a difference between the right and left facial base height, there’s also a height difference at the nostril floor, so the implant tends to shift to one side…
