I had a large hump, so it was shaved down, and after osteotomy of this open roof, I had everything removed early except only the part where spreader grafting was done with my autologous cartilage. Is there any case where spreader grafting can also lead to contracture or inflammation? I understand that it is done by crushing cartilage and putting it in, but because my hump was large, they said it would be dangerous to remove this part. Also, I had the removal around 2 weeks after rhinoplasty, right around when my nose was very firm and tight. My original nose was a drooping, long nose.
