4 months after short-chin surgery...

I wrote it like some kind of title ㅡㅡㅋ It has been 3 months since I had short-chin surgery. I am very disappointed with the result... Looking at my symptoms... 1. My face looks long. - My chin length was not exactly short to begin with.. my mouth protruded, so my chin looked relatively small, but after advancing the chin forward, my face looks long. This part is important. The general opinion is that when someone whose vertical chin-bone length is not short has short-chin surgery, the result is not good. Especially when the chin is not actually small, but the mouth protrudes so the chin only looks relatively recessed, the prevailing opinion is that bringing the chin forward with short-chin surgery cannot produce a good result. 2. The shape of the chin itself is strange. - They are supposed to cut the chin tip and move it forward.. but if they cut too close to the tip, the cut piece is small and there is a risk the bone may die. So they cut the area between the chin tip and the lip and move it forward.. but in my case they cut too close to the lip, so the shape of my chin is strange. In other words, rather than the chin tip protruding slightly, the area right under the lip has become bulging outward. Also, people with small chins often have well-developed muscles in front of the chin, causing wrinkles, and even after surgery makes the chin come forward, these wrinkles remain. 3. My lip is numb. - Even now, 3 months later, my lower lip is numb. The prevailing story is that nerves do not recover 100%. They say about 90% recovers.. 4. The two sides look different. - When I look in the mirror, the right side seems to have attached well with no empty space between the bones.. but on the left side, when I touch it with my hand, I can feel a gap-like space between the bones. Now that the swelling has gone down, when I look closely.. the bone has attached slightly asymmetrically, so the left jawbone protrudes more. 5. I look 10 years older. - My chin became longer and the front of my chin came out, but the sides of my chin look relatively sunken... and more than anything, I lost cheek volume, so my whole face looks older. Regarding cheek volume, some doctors say that when the jawbone comes forward the cheek flesh is pulled, while others say the chin and cheek flesh are not greatly related.. I think it depends on the person, and in my case, as much as my chin came forward, my cheek flesh was pulled, so my cheeks look hollow. 6. Slight memory decline I felt after general anesthesia.. - It has recovered a lot now, but my head still does not feel as clear as before.. and right after surgery I had forgetfulness. The hospital says short-chin surgery is the surgery with the highest satisfaction, but I do not think so. The chin has an enormous effect on the facial contour.. and it is a difficult surgery involving the lips, muscles under the chin, and various nerves. They say it is the simplest facial contouring surgery and has the highest satisfaction, but I do not think that is true. And in my case, I had the consultation with that hospital's doctor.. but after the surgery, I sensed an atmosphere that the doctor I consulted with did not seem to know much.. and I remember another doctor being next to me when I was lying on the operating table. When I went to have the stitches removed after surgery, the doctor asked the nurse in a low voice why the blood drain tube(?) or whatever had been done like this... I think if he had performed the surgery himself, there is no way he would not know. Also, he could not find the area where the bone had been cut very well.. this is very strange. So I wonder if someone else operated on me for practice. Anyway, this is my guess. An anesthetized patient would not know.. I also suspect whether it was done with a laser. This is also just a guess, though. I had surgery at ㄱ ㄹ X near Gangnam Station. There did not seem to be many doctors... That doctor who is supposedly a facial contouring specialist is really absurd. Now the atmosphere is that they are playing dumb.. the person called the manager is also trying to talk her way out of it somehow.. It is annoying in many ways. The other doctors at that hospital do not seem to get much criticism.. I am annoyed that I happened to end up with that doctor. For reference, that hospital is not one that starts with 'Gya'. The content above is the same as my previous post.. and now, one more month has passed.. As almost all the swelling has gone down, my facial shape has become even stranger. The side where the bone attached strangely still hurts when I touch it... looking now, the jawbone has definitely attached shifted to one side. And perhaps the part of the jawbone that protrudes forward is pressing on the muscles at the front of the chin.. my lip continues to be numb. I heard that doctors who are good at short-chin surgery, after cutting the chin bone and moving it forward, appropriately shave down the sharply protruding part... They say that is the know-how.. It seems the hospital I went to did not even know that. As far as I know, Paik Hospital has long been famous for bone surgery.. and someone named Park Se-min or Baek Se-min was said to be a master of facial contouring surgery... I was also advised to receive surgery from doctors from Paik Hospital who trained under him.
