20060309 I had surgery at 9:30 this morning. Yesterday I went around to about three places in Apgujeong for consultations.. and made my decision.. The choices were either buried suture only, buried suture + epicanthoplasty.. or ptosis correction (slight) + incision + epicanthoplasty. All the doctors said the same thing, that I had slight ptosis (borderline for surgery..), and they said the buried suture method was possible because I had no fat.. But.. I don't know if it differs depending on the doctors' personalities.. For epicanthoplasty, some said it would make the area between my eyes look narrow, so they didn't recommend it.. while another said I should do it for a more open look. I wanted outfold eyes.. but the distance between my eyes wasn't that wide and my eye length wasn't short either, so I debated it.. and just did the canthoplasty. Conclusion~!! I did buried suture + Mongolian fold correction (epicanthoplasty).. I thought it would be local anesthesia, but it was sedation anesthesia.. I fell asleep and woke up, and it was done.. Since my home is in the provinces, after the surgery I took the train for about 4 hours to come down.. and it seems like a lot of the swelling went down on the way.. I'll take photos and upload them every day from now on.. so please take a look and tell me if the swelling is going down well..

I got a lot of information here, and it has already been 10 days since my surgery too. ^_^ Does it look like it went well? I think the swelling is still going down little by little. I'll upload my pre-surgery eyes again in a few days too^^
