Day 11 after scalp-incision zygoma reduction and bone-cement forehead surgery (photos removed)

I had scalp-incision zygoma surgery on March 14. As of today, it has been 11 days. I’m already so happy and full of expectations from the surgical results that are showing.... I’m a 33-year-old housewife, and I came to Korea from the U.S. for surgery. Seven years ago, I had zygoma and square-jaw surgery in the U.S., but because only my anterior cheekbones were shaved down, my face just became too flat, and my face kept looking broader and broader. So what I thought of next was nose surgery and a forehead implant.... I thought that if my nose and forehead became higher, my face might look a little more three-dimensional, so I came to Korea last October and had surgery. But that was also my own mistaken judgment. Just because the nose becomes higher and the forehead is augmented, it doesn’t mean the face becomes three-dimensional..... Because my temples had become hollow from orthodontic treatment, only my unattractive lateral cheekbones ended up being emphasized tremendously. So while looking into zygoma surgery, I learned about scalp-incision zygoma surgery, and I came to understand that scalp-incision zygoma surgery is precisely the operation that can aim for the greatest safety and greatest effect in cheekbone surgery. As someone who had already experienced several failures, this time I made my decision very carefully and came back to Korea with firm determination. For this surgery, I had to come back from the U.S. after only 3 months, so there were many difficulties, but now that it has been 11 days since the surgery, I am so happy and really feel that I did well to have the surgery. It has only been 11 days since surgery, but the effect on my cheekbones is already clearly showing. According to the doctor, the maximum effect can be expected around 1 year, after 3 months and 6 months pass, so I had been preparing to wait with a relaxed mind, but the results already showing make it hard to calm down my anticipation and excitement. Also, while having scalp-incision zygoma surgery, I had the unnatural and unbalanced silicone forehead implant removed and also had forehead surgery at the same time using a material called bone cement, and I really like the naturally augmented forehead too. As expected, because I was so careful, I think it was an excellent choice of hospital. My current condition is so good that even my husband, who arrives in Korea 5 days from now, probably won’t even know that I had surgery.. Last year, I learned about this community through a friend in Korea, and while going in and out of this community, I ended up having my nose surgery at a hospital famous here, and I also found out about my current zygoma surgery hospital. I’m also someone who received a huge amount of help from this community...^^;; So this time, I went up onto the operating table hoping that I would succeed with the surgery and, like the people who helped me with surgical information, someday be able to exchange good information with others... And lastly, you asked whether the forehead implant can be felt? Um... The bone cement I had surgery with, honestly, is less of an implant (because it isn’t a lump) and... um... how should I describe it.... To be exact, it’s like plaster powder. Literally bone cement.. They knead that and place it lightly on your own forehead bone. You can think of it as applying cement over the framework called the forehead bone, like when we build a house and apply cement to the frame, creating one sculptural form.. So there isn’t a separate implant that can be felt.
