I had surgery in the winter and am entering my 7th month now. My nasal tip is still severely hard, like a stone, so I'm extremely stressed... My boyfriend also keeps criticizing me, saying I had a surgery he told me not to have... The surgery used septal cartilage and Sili-Gore, and the nasal tip area was all done with septal cartilage. At the time of surgery, they said that by 6 months, the nasal tip would become soft and natural, but it's still extremely hard. I'm becoming avoidant because I'm afraid someone will touch my nose, and I end up avoiding people. Am I the only one like this? Are there people who had rhinoplasty using the same method as me? It still hurts badly when I touch the underside of my nose, and when I put my hand inside my nose and touch it, it feels like the cartilage is protruding.... When I looked into other places, they said septal cartilage absolutely never becomes soft and that I will never be able to make a pig nose for the rest of my life.... For those who had surgery like me, is it really just that my tissue healing is slow and I'm the only one like this...
