Originally, the surgery was only supposed to be for my nose and anterior chin, but after surgery, I saw that they had injected fat not only into my nose and anterior chin, but also into my forehead and around my nose. (The nurses told me the doctor in charge looked kindly on me because I work hard in life.) After surgery, my nose looked longer, the area between my eyebrows became higher, and my rounded nasal tip also became more defined. The most fascinating thing was that my protruding mouth also looked set back. Next week, as my second procedure, I’ll receive ptosis correction with double eyelid surgery. After I get ptosis correction with double eyelid surgery, I’ll organize the photos again and upload them. The reason I came to have cosmetic surgery like this is that, after graduating high school, going to university, and entering society, I gained social experience and painfully felt that our country has lookism. My nose was also a huge complex for me, and my sharp-looking eyes were also a complex, so I made up my mind about cosmetic surgery and decided to have the procedure. But I thought it would not be right to ask the adults in my family, who are not financially well-off, for money by saying their son wanted cosmetic surgery, so I started saving money myself, and after 2 years of working, I had the surgery. I originally live outside Seoul, and honestly, because it was my face, I worried even more, no less than women do, and for about a month I personally looked into plastic surgery clinics in the Seoul area. Of course, before that, I had already looked through the internet, cosmetic surgery cafes, and even this community. While looking around like that, I found the hospital where I had surgery, and when I had a consultation with the director, in one word, it really struck a chord with me. The doctor was a woman. I had visited many hospitals, but not even once (among the hospitals I chose) was it easy to meet a female doctor, and I also had the belief that naturally male doctors would be better, but after meeting the female doctor who operated on me, I realized that what I had thought was just a concern. I handed the money I had saved all that time to the hospital in cash and said just one thing. I know my face is worse than Oh Ji-heon’s (comedian) (I’m sorry to comedian Oh Ji-heon), but I’m not hoping to become Jang Dong-gun through cosmetic surgery. I just don’t want to hear that I’m ugly. That’s what I told them.. As I handed over the money and thought about having surgery, I was nervous.. On the other hand, I also looked forward to my changed appearance, but the nervousness was greater. I don’t think men should criticize women who become prettier through cosmetic surgery.
