One week after revision nose surgery and I still have bruising..

It's been one week since I had revision nose surgery after one year.. They removed the implant that was in my nose and inserted silicone to reshape it. First of all, it's been one week, and at first my face was very swollen. It felt tight from my nose all the way to behind my ears. My head also felt very heavy.. and I was out of it.. After a week passed, the swelling has really gone down a lot. Other people say it takes about 2 weeks for the swelling to go down somewhat.. and I think they say it takes about a month to go away completely.. For me, it's been one week, and the swelling seems almost all gone.. But I still have some bruising left.. Some people say bruising disappears in about 3 days, and the hospital also said it would disappear soon.. For now, with my nose, I keep thinking I should have had the revision surgery much earlier. The previous nose surgery seemed to get more crooked as time passed.. and it bothered me a lot, so although it was hard during the surgery, now that it's over I feel relieved. I just hope the bruising goes away soon.
