Successful consultation methods for successful surgery!^^ (Including experience + advice)

Hello^^ Since quite a lot of people said my reviews or private messages were helpful, it feels really rewarding^^ So this time, I'll talk about successful consultation methods for successful surgery, gathering my own experience and advice from inside sources^^ For those seeing my writing for the first time, to briefly introduce myself so you can judge credibility, I work as a nurse at a university hospital, and through friends' introductions I had eye and nose surgery at ㅈㅇ and ㅂㄴ in Apgujeong respectively^^ I have many inside sources (ㅡ_ㅡ+ friends...) who work at plastic surgery clinics in Apgujeong-dong, so for the information I heard, I compared and compared it and picked out only the content that was as common and objective as possible. 1. The director doing the consultation is human too! What this means is, there are cases where someone visits blindly and says, I want to do this and that here and there, can you do it like this? Or they just drop by because they were passing and had a few simple questions, right? The director is human too. In other words, during the consultation they can tell whether you are a patient who will have surgery at their hospital or just someone passing by. Because of that, naturally they give a more detailed consultation to a patient who has the will to have surgery at their hospital. So when you go for an in-person consultation, it can be more beneficial to first choose the hospital where you will have surgery and receive the consultation assuming you would have surgery at that hospital. Then the director will also engage in the consultation in more detail^^ I guess it's inevitable that they would want to spend more time on a patient who is more serious than a patient who visits without much sincerity and asks this and that. 2. Decide for yourself first what shape you want! Many of you may think, what does this mean now?? Usually when getting surgery, for double eyelids people think roughly, if I do double eyelids with medial and lateral canthoplasty, my eyes will look a bit bigger and prettier, right?? And for the nose, if I raise it a bit, make the nasal tip a bit straight and lifted, and make it like a beoseon-line nose, that should be fine, right?? There are so many cases where people have consultations and surgery with that kind of thought! But if you are satisfied after that, that's fortunate, but if not, that's when it starts getting tiring. Therefore, first, the person having surgery must, even if not perfectly precisely, at least! decide to some extent on the shape of the post-surgery appearance they want.!! In other words, bring celebrity photos or reference photos similar to the post-surgery look you have in mind and have the consultation! From the director's position too, rather than guessing only from words, if they can visually confirm the exact form you want, they can give a more concrete consultation about whether it is possible and what better shapes there may be.. So the consultation itself can become a truly useful time as a consultation. If you even bring photos and they still gloss over things and somehow seem insincere, it is better to exclude that hospital. Surgery is done by the doctor. But the direction of that surgery is set by the patient's requests. Therefore, a hospital that does not listen to the patient's requests during consultation is often a hospital without respect for the patient themselves. In other words, they do not see the patient as a person, but just as a piece of money. 3. Do not be embarrassed or just let things slide vaguely. When consultations happen, about half out of ten cases just roughly listen to what the director says and cannot really say what they themselves want. These days it has improved a bit and decreased to about four out of ten, but if you consult that way, the director feels frustrated and the consultant manager feels frustrated too. First of all, the patient has to state clearly what they want so the person consulting can give more accurate and specific answers accordingly. But if the patient is just vague as if embarrassed, or cannot express their intention clearly, causing the consultant not to recognize exactly what the patient wants, the consultation itself turns into vague hand-waving and passes over things roughly. The person doing the surgery performs surgery without accurately recognizing what the person who wants surgery wants?????? How would that be??? For now, I've written about the three main consultation methods that are mentioned the most^^ Even just this much should let you have a consultation that really feels like a consultation.
