I’m a woman who lived with double-eyelid tape on for years. I thought I couldn’t go on like that, so I had surgery around Chuseok! The doctor looked at my eyes and said just one thing: “You know your eyes are small, right?” That was the first time I realized my eyes were small. Then I cautiously said my skin was weak and that I wanted to have the surgery by buried sutures. The doctor said, “No way! Full incision! You have a lot of eyelid fat! You’ll need epicanthoplasty too... It’s okay! It’s okay!” I hadn’t been thinking about epicanthoplasty... but I wasn’t okay... Do I really have that much fat! And then I made the decision. I rambled on and on! As expected, a month has passed, but the scars are still clear... well, I knew that going in! Epicanthoplasty scars really do last longer than I thought. The epicanthoplasty also looks uneven, and this is just... it doesn’t look done or undone.... When will it disappear? And the line on the right side is kind of, well, strange, right? Should I say the line is a bit bumpy and slightly protruding? Will this settle in with time? Or will I need a revision? And in the middle of the left line, something like a stitch or some kind of speck is sticking out! It’s annoying, but should I go to the hospital or not... Is it healing normally... Please let me know! ------------------------------------ There’s a horizontal mark in the middle of the epicanthoplasty scar, right~~ Will this disappear? Should I go to the hospital..
