The bulging fat under my eyes was a complex for me, and after entering my 40s, it seemed to stand out even more, so before it got any later, I decided to do fat repositioning. After having the surgery, I keep thinking, why didn’t I do it sooner? It’s been 3 weeks since my lower-eyelid fat repositioning at To Be, so I’ll share the symptoms from right after surgery. On the day of surgery, there was no visible sign at all, to the point that I wondered if I had really had surgery. From about 4-5 hours after surgery, swelling gradually started to come up, and by day 2, I could definitely tell I was swollen. At home, I kept my pillow high and took occasional walks. Moving my body definitely seemed to help the swelling go down well. From day 3, the feeling of swelling started to lessen little by little, and I went to work from day 3. I couldn’t wear makeup, so I wore a mask (not tightly), and it covered almost all of the under-eye area, so it was fine. By week 1, most of the major swelling had gone down, and the minor swelling started to slowly subside. As the bruising disappeared, there was some yellow bruising, but it was coverable with makeup (I started wearing makeup from day 5), so it didn’t interfere with daily life. I also had a little bit of blood bruising in some areas, and that started to go down too. From week 2, the minor swelling gradually started to go down, and the bruising was completely gone. Now, in week 3, the swelling seems almost completely gone, and when I touch the lower lash line area, only a slight feeling like anesthetized skin remains. Since the bulging under my eyes is gone, my overall expression definitely looks brighter. Before surgery, when I looked in the mirror, I had a slightly tired-looking impression, but after surgery, my complexion definitely looks brighter, so I’m really satisfied.
