7 years ago, I had double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty done outside Seoul. Recently, I was stressed because of the scar on the left epicanthoplasty area and because the front line of my double eyelid had come undone, so I looked into restoration and revision surgery. I joined a KakaoTalk chat room for people looking into revision surgery, and this hospital was recommended to me for epicanthoplasty restoration. In the restoration chat room, they told me not to do epicanthoplasty restoration and revision surgery together, but I judged that doing them all at once would be better for a quick return to daily life. Honestly, I thought it would be hard to go through recovery and spend almost a full year focusing only on my eyes. After going around to a few consultations, there really weren’t any places that could do epicanthoplasty restoration and double eyelid revision surgery at the same time. Just like the doctor said, there weren’t any places that could do them together. The price I heard during the consultation was more expensive than I expected, but after getting it done, I thought that since it was three surgeries and also a revision surgery, maybe this amount was reasonable. It has only been 2 weeks so far, but since it was revision surgery, I was worried I might have to get surgery again. My impression and scar have improved a lot, so I’m satisfied.
