It’s the first day after incisional double eyelid surgery. Is it possible for my eye not to close? The crease isn’t an in-out line; it’s a low semi-out line. About 12 hours have passed. Right after the surgery, in the recovery room, one of my eyes wouldn’t close all the way, so even when I closed my eyes, light was coming in. I told the doctor who came to the recovery room, and they said it would get better, but I’m so worried that I’m asking. Now it’s even more swollen, so even when I close my eyes, I can slightly see in front of me. So even when I tried to sleep, light came in and I couldn’t fall asleep well. I woke up briefly now, but I’m so worried that I can’t fall back asleep. Will it be okay once the swelling goes down now?
