Review of buried-suture surgery.... Explained in order.

Before surgery, I was also so, so curious about exactly what order everything would happen in, and I remembered searching all over the place, so I’m posting this. I had surgery this morning. First, let me say one thing (who said double eyelid surgery doesn’t hurt -.-) I had it done in Apgujeong. It was buried-suture method. I didn’t do any medial or lateral canthoplasty or anything like that, just buried sutures and a little bit of fat removal. 1. Arrived at the clinic. They measured my blood pressure, I washed my face, and they took photos of my eyes. 2. Waited nervously. 3. The doctor called me in. Final check of the line before surgery. After marking a few spots, they showed me the mirror, and with my okay, it was decided. 4. Got on the operating table. Since they said it would be sedation anesthesia, I thought I’d be anesthetized throughout the whole surgery, but it turned out to be about 5 minutes of sedation anesthesia to keep me from feeling the terrifying anesthetic injections. They put anesthetic eye drops in my eyes, and the moment the sedation injection entered my vein, I smelled a strong odor and lost consciousness. 5. I saw a four-dimensional world. It was really fascinating. Whenever I’d seen people say things like they went to the fourth dimension or whatever, I thought they were just talking about being under anesthesia, but it really felt like a four-dimensional world. Stars were moving back and forth in front of my eyes, and all kinds of colors appeared before my eyes.. 6. Woke up from sedation and felt the surgery in a dazed state. Once the sedation wore off, I could see the movements of the doctor’s and assistants’ hands. I smelled fat being cauterized and could feel the suturing.. Still, since I was anesthetized, there was no pain. It was just that I could “feel it”..-,- Once they realized I had woken up from sedation, I heard them saying from time to time, “Don’t tense your eyes.” They said if you put strength into your eyes, you can get bruising. 7. When it was almost over, “Patient, it’s all finished. Here is the fat.” They showed me the fat, and I was startled for a moment.. 8. Got up, was helped, and moved to the recovery room. They gave me an ice pack and told me to place it over my eyes. I stayed like that for about ten minutes, then got hungry and left. 9. On the car ride home, the anesthetic injection gradually started wearing off, and as the car shook, the pain in my eyes increased.. 10. Arrived home.. As the anesthesia wore off completely, my eyes gradually started hurting.. Fortunately, I didn’t get bruising, but the swelling and the pain.. 11. After taking the prescribed medicine, the pain decreased a lot. I’m applying ointment and continuing cold compresses. I’ve been taking photos continuously, and I’ll upload them all at once after a few days. I didn’t do this because I wanted to My parents kept telling me to do it, so I did.. If they had put the anesthetic injection directly into my eyes, I would have fainted too ㄷㄷㄷ
