Hello~ I’m leaving a 9-month review of my full eye canthoplasty! I had full canthoplasty done, including epicanthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty, with the director at a plastic surgery clinic. I naturally had double eyelids to begin with, but having double eyelids doesn’t necessarily make your eyes look big haha My eyes felt like they only opened slightly upward, and because the horizontal length was short, my eye shape looked stuffy. So I wondered what could make them look bigger and more open, and people around me also recommended canthoplasty a lot, so after getting a consultation, I eventually decided on full canthoplasty. It has already been 9 months since the surgery, and after more than half a year, the thing people ask me about the most is whether the canthoplasty areas close back up. To give the conclusion first, I absolutely don’t feel like they have closed back up at all! It’s true that they look much more natural than right after surgery, but that’s not because they closed and became smaller. It just feels like they settled into place and naturally stabilized. The outer lines of my eyes are still opened up nicely, and compared with before surgery, my eyes are definitely bigger. What I like most is that my eyes look big even without makeup. Before, if I didn’t do eye makeup, they really looked like tiny, narrow eyes, but now I’m so satisfied because even on days when I wear less makeup, the difference still shows haha Especially even with just mascara or a thin eyeliner, my eye shape comes alive right away, so the time I spend doing makeup every day has also decreased. For people like me who have double eyelids but feel their eye shape is lacking, or feel frustrated because their eyes look small and narrow, I really highly recommend canthoplasty!! Personally, I was much more satisfied with eye canthoplasty than nose surgery lol As time passes, it keeps getting more natural and prettier, so I’m looking forward to how it will look at 1 year and 2 years :)
