I had only a slight double eyelid on one side, and the other side would appear and disappear, so I had buried-suture double eyelid surgery in 2018. The doctor was male, a bit young, and the consultation wasn't extremely friendly. They compared it with retouched photos or photos where I had used double eyelid glue, gave me a quote the same day, and I had surgery the same day. ++I woke up in the middle of surgery. It was sedation anesthesia, but I woke up during the surgery and moved, so the doctor looked flustered & annoyed So the nurse urgently told me, "You're in the middle of surgery," and talked to me, then they added more medication and I seemed to calm down. Looking back now, they say that kind of thing happens because there isn't a dedicated anesthesiologist.. Luckily it was buried-suture surgery and I'm satisfied with the result, but waking up and moving in the middle could have been a big problem.. Now when I'm tired, it almost comes undone and turns into multiple folds, but since it's buried-suture surgery, I accept it, and I'm satisfied because it looks natural.
