For those considering facial fat grafting..

It’s less noticeable than you might think.. The swelling lasts a long time... As for the survival rate... even though these days ads keep saying 70%; I think you should assume about 30%~40% remains... And for the second fat injection.. apparently there are research findings saying fat that has been frozen and stored for over 2 months does not survive?? But usually at plastic surgery clinics, even at the earliest, they do the second round after 3 months, or within 6 months to 1 year, right? Unless you’re expecting only a slight corrective effect, using an implant gives a much more precise and prettier result.. Especially for areas like the chin, using fat and using an implant were clearly different... Honestly, with the nose, implants are noticeable... but with the chin, even if you put an implant at the tip, people don’t really notice.. Rather than putting in unnatural-looking fat and struggling with thoughts like when will it settle, what if too much of it disappears; how will the shape change after a few months; I think putting in a permanent implant would be a hundred times better; The forehead is, well.. natural-looking.. but everything disappears except about 20%-_- For the nasal bridge/nose.. about 5% remains; For the nasolabial fold area, during the first 2 weeks, as the swelling goes down, it disappears along with it so there’s no trace left-_- Every day I worried what if the fat disappears, so I washed my face very carefully; Even if I got one pimple,, I couldn’t touch it because I was afraid fat might disappear while squeezing it, or the shape might change.. I didn’t talk much either, and even while laughing I’d go, oops! and go back to keeping a blank expression-_-; I’m saying this from experience... And I had the procedure done at a well-known plastic surgery clinic after paying a very high price-_- Please think carefully....
