Even after double eyelid surgery, opening my eyes was still too hard and I was using my forehead muscles On top of that, if I didn’t put strength into my eyes, I even had overlapping creases… It was a total mess, so in the end I waited until the stable period Then I felt I really couldn’t leave it like this, so I looked into revision surgery Now I can talk about it simply while smiling, but at the time the stress was really severe…. sigh For the revision surgery clinic, I really didn’t want to fail again, so I think I looked at hundreds of reviews before going I went to consultations at four places too, and among them, the director at one clinic was the most accurate with the diagnosis and things like that And the consultation was extremely thorough, so I decided on it First, the problem with my eyes was that I needed ptosis correction (I had no strength when opening my eyes and opened them with my forehead) The distance between my eyes and eyebrows was narrow, and the area above my eyes was pressed down So to get the flashy line I wanted, they said I first needed to widen the distance between my eyes and eyebrows with a forehead lift That way, a flashy yet open-looking line could be made, but because only the line had been set recklessly, They said that was why the overlapping creases formed So they told me it would be good to keep the line height flashy as a semi-out line And do ptosis correction together while doing a forehead lift Since it was revision surgery, I thought it would have to be incisional, but they said it was possible with natural adhesion, So I had the revision surgery with natural adhesion After the revision surgery, the bending and pressed-down parts of the line, and the asymmetry all disappeared And first of all, I don’t have to force myself to use strength when opening my eyes, so it’s really comfortable The open yet flashy? image I wanted couldn’t be achieved at all during the first surgery because the space between my eyebrows and eyes was narrow But after the forehead lift, the pressed-down part of my eyes was lifted, and it became exactly the open and flashy image I wanted The facial proportions fit just right, so should I say it feels like everything fits now This is why even double eyelid surgery really shouldn’t be done recklessly I guess it’s important to accurately diagnose what I need and then have surgery… Everyone, even if it’s double eyelid surgery, don’t think of it lightly; go around for consultations at different places before deciding Otherwise, like me, you may spend more time and money on revision surgery ^^.. plus stress as a bonus…. Still, now I think it’s a relief that the revision surgery succeeded And I like my current face just as it is, so I’m not planning to touch my face anymore from now on Since there’s also the saying that too much is as bad as too little, I’m thinking of just managing it with occasional skin care….
