I once heard an explanation that for some people, depending on the person who had surgery, swelling can take years to go down. I waited. Before surgery, I had slight wrinkles caused by the under-eye fat I already had. After surgery, of course they became more noticeable. The volume had deflated.. I was satisfied. Of course, since I had surgery, it should naturally have gotten better. Maybe I had a lot of fat, because I also paid more money. But as time went on, the fact that my right and left sides were uneven became harder and harder to accept. There was a problem from the beginning. About a month after surgery, wrinkles started forming in the bony area under my right eye. When I smiled, a new wrinkle caused by fat appeared. When I asked about it, they said it was a wrinkle I originally had. I waited. Since it might disappear, I waited. 2 years have passed. For 2 years, I had never told people around me about this concern, but recently I ended up talking about it. "My right eye and left eye are a bit different, right? That’s why only the right side wrinkles." When I said that, everyone noticed without needing any other explanation. The left side really turned out well, but the right side still has fat remaining. It’s less than before, but because that fat was repositioned to a new area, it seems like the protruding fat made wrinkles form again. Whether I ask 10 people or 20 people, everyone says they’re uneven. But what can I do? Even if they say they’ll do revision surgery, I’m not going to do it. I really thought this surgery was simple. It was my first time having anything like cosmetic surgery, and because my eyes were important to me as someone who works in design, I can’t even explain how nervous I was during the surgery. Even thinking about it now, it was a surgery I never want to do again, to the point that I wonder how I endured it. Honestly, it’s true that I was sensitive and all, but it was the patient’s first time experiencing it, so how could I not be worried? But they laughed at me as if I was completely pretending to be sick, and when I went to get my stitches removed and asked them to do it gently, after I said that, the doctor passed by and I heard them say to just remove them roughly and send me off. At that moment I really thought, just watch, I’m never coming back to this hospital. I couldn’t even properly get angry because I was afraid blood would burst from my eyes. It’s true that my eyes became a little prettier after having surgery here, but it’s not like I got surgery for free, and I paid as much as 1.6 million won for the surgery, so I think I’m allowed to complain this much. They’re uneven, but what can I do? They’ll probably be like this for life, but what can I do? I don’t think I can ever have surgery again.
