Incisional double eyelid surgery review from someone with monolids who lived without even double-eyelid tape

<Pre-op photo... seriously, doesn’t it look exactly like a wanted poster photo?>I lived for 2n years as a complete monolid person.. I didn’t even have inner double eyelids at all, so I was always opening my eyes with forehead strength, and wrinkles started forming, which bothered me more than I expected. Then last year my older sister got double eyelid surgery, and my mom also recommended that I try it, so I decided to go in for a consultation this time. I happened to remember that the manager at the place where I worked part-time had said things like, if I was going to get my eyes done, I should go to that clinic, and that a lot of celebrities go there too, so I decided to go there When I arrived at the hospital, the staff were kind, gave me drinks and snacks too, and it just felt like I was being treated well? I’m a scaredy-cat, so I went with my mom and older sister, and because there were three of us, they guided us to a larger consultation room... I really loved that kind of thoughtfulness I first met with the consultant and talked about the eyes I wanted, the things that had usually been uncomfortable for me, and stuff like that, and she wrote it all down. After that I met the director, and wow, he really seemed like a pro lol He explained buried suture, incisional, inline, and outline methods, and he was really detailed and immediately explained the pros and cons. I wanted something natural rather than a dramatic line, and he found the right line for me in one go. The demon of the wire. I knew nothing about double eyelids, so I went in unable to decide between an inline and an in-out line, but when I asked, he showed me right away and even told me his recommendation, so the consultation atmosphere was comfortable and it was easy to choose. At other hospitals, during consultations the consultant did almost everything, and the director would just come in briefly, hold the line a few times, say, “It would be better to do it like this~,” and disappear. But here, the director who would actually perform the surgery carefully handled the consultation from the start, so I trusted them more. Honestly, it makes sense that the person doing the surgery should be the one looking at it,,, Anyway, because my skin itself is thick, I decided on the incisional method, and because I wanted it to look natural, I decided on an in-out line! Of course I was nervous on the day of surgery lol trembling by myself Still, the staff kindly explained all the procedures and didn’t rush me, so I felt comfortable. Honestly, I wondered if a large hospital would just roll people through like a factory, but there was none of that at all. During the surgery, after anesthesia, the director asked me to open my eyes midway and checked the line. I said it felt like the anesthesia was wearing off a little, and they immediately added more, so it ended comfortably. I’ll skip the rest because my memory was erased because of the anesthesia. I rested a bit in the recovery room, then went to the Five Guys right next door, ate a burger, and went home nyami I’m originally the type who doesn’t bruise or swell much, so the red bruises were all gone in 2-3 days, and by about a week the yellow bruises were almost gone. It was just like I had eaten a lot of tangerines? And what was really amazing was... now I can open my eyes without using my forehead!! Was everyone else living in a world like this all along... Now that I have double eyelids, my bare face looks clearer too, and when I put on makeup, the level of satisfaction is just totally different. I understand why makeup before-and-after videos always create double eyelids for a reason. My friend saw my eyes and said the line is really pretty, and that once the swelling goes down they’ll be seriously insanely pretty, three times lol I’m looking forward to seeing how much more natural they’ll get once the swelling goes down more hehehee Like 0 Empathy emoticon Translating Would you like to save this review? +0 This review is a surgical review pursuing a natural look.
