Nose Surgery Reviews

I finally had the surgery after putting it off and putting it off..

It was really hard to go from deciding on surgery to actually having it done. It still feels amazing that I even had surgery Now I’m able to write a review like this while smiling which feels nice. I was so anxious the whole time, wondering which hospital to choose, how the surgery would be done, and whether it would turn out well or not... I think I signed up for more than 10 communities just because I was so worried. I visited so many places trying to get detailed information... My daily routine was basically reading reviews and looking at photos that were posted. I spent so long looking at photos and reviews from people who had nose surgery, asking questions, and going back and forth like that... Whenever I saw members who were having a hard time because their surgery went wrong, my heart would pound and I’d get scared, and even when I was about to give up on surgery, seeing photos of beautifully done surgeries and satisfied members at the communities I’d joined would make me suddenly want to do it again, over and over, dozens of times a day. I joined several places where I could get information, gathered information, and from among them I collected details about the hospitals where the people I liked had their surgeries, and that’s how I decided on my surgery. When you join many places, a lot of members gather up hospitals they say are good and do well, and among them about 10 hospitals came up... (My suspicious nature is really bad ~~) Among those, I especially wanted a hospital that was good, kind, good at revision surgery, and above all, because I’m very timid, a place where anesthesia worked well and it wouldn’t hurt at all, that was my biggest wish. I was so afraid it would hurt.... What if, just in case... the anesthesia wore off and I started screaming, like a scene from a horror movie? It was truly exhausting. The hospital I had almost decided to go to turned out, according to what I found, to be a place with lots of bad rumors and swarming with brokers, so I was disappointed again and had to start over. It was one failure after another while choosing hospitals again. Finally I found the hospital where I would have my surgery... Going to consultations at multiple places, and traveling back and forth from the provinces to Seoul for consultations, is really not easy either... But thinking that if I made even one mistake with my nose, I’d suffer even more than that, I ended up doing it. I kept saying it must not hurt, and I think I sent inquiry messages to the hospital nonstop. They probably thought, please just go to another hospital and do it there... I was probably that chatty. Each time, the director replied with a smile and didn’t seem annoyed, and the chief staff member~~~ (I’m sure I was terrible~ One person probably felt like ten people’s worth of consultation and got exhausted~) I’m so timid that I scream even when I get a flu shot.. I can’t stand seeing blood, and I’m also quite suspicious...) To reserve the surgery date, I paid 30,000 won, The date was far away, and while I waited I was dying of anticipation... In the meantime I kept pestering the hospital, and I got anxious thinking that all those people who gave me information at the various hospitals were actually... brokers??? On the day I went for surgery, I rode there with my older sister and we talked nonstop about the surgery the whole time in the car, so the person next to us just stared at us... I was so embarrassed I didn’t even care, my legs were trembling, and Seoul was getting closer and closer.... Even while taking the subway, I just kept looking at people’s noses. I’d think, did that person get it done? That nose is pretty haha When I went into the hospital, they told me to eat first, so I ordered and ate, but my spoon was shaking so badly... In the end I think I got indigestion, because my stomach felt terrible too. While sitting and waiting... I thought many times, should I just go back? And then finally they called me..... I was shaking...(How am I supposed to... sob sob) My older sister said, why are you asking how, just lie down~ The doctor, just like during the consultation again, smiled calmly and kindly gave careful, step-by-step explanations to me, who was kind and very scared, about what they would do... told me not to worry because they would make it painless. Hearing that, I had already written my will and came here, doctor. I even made threats like that.... I must not suffer, doctor.... I’ll live properly... doctor... I was saying things like that. The operating room.... Just seeing the sign for the operating room made my heart race already and I was going crazy... Lie down. We’re disinfecting. Ugh... I feel like I’m going to die... My heart feels like it’s about to burst... They told me to hold something in my mouth (suddenly I started gagging in my throat, like I had phlegm, and when I went “uek~ kek~~~” they said) You must not spit it out. The disinfection inside my nose was tolerable, though, more than I expected, and not that strong. They didn’t shave the nose hair here. I was too scared to shave it myself in case I nicked the skin~~~~ Anesthesia starts. The medicine goes in. Swoooosh~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Where am I going??? As I felt myself drifting off, I thought, I’m not going to be taken away~~ and then I fell asleep... When I opened my eyes, the surgery was already in progress. Ah~~ I’m scared... But I couldn’t feel anything... It didn’t hurt at all, and I could hear the doctor’s voice, so kind. The nurses held my hand... (I guess I was gripping it so hard that it hurt their hands because I was scared, so they gave me a ball to squeeze. The ball probably got completely crushed~~ It’s lucky it didn’t burst.) When the anesthesia was wearing off, I saw myself chattering away about everything. Doctor, this and that... I think I talked about all kinds of things. The doctor kept smiling and saying, yes, really? and listening well, and the surgery felt, how should I put it... I’ve had other surgeries too, but I don’t think I’ve ever had one this comfortably. When the doctor saw me crossing my legs, they said, would you like to go to the restroom? So while I was in the middle of surgery, I went to the restroom and took care of business. The doctor carefully wiped away all the blood from my face, one by one, so that I wouldn’t faint from seeing it in the restroom, and I was really overwhelmed with emotion... my heart felt full. Even when I looked in the restroom, it wasn’t scary at all. After lying back down, the surgery continued... I couldn’t hear the radio anymore, and I think I was the only one happily talking away. If I had any sensation, I think it would have hurt, but it was really this painless, so unbelievably strange that it felt less like surgery and more like I just came to chat. I don’t know whether I farted during the surgery. My stomach was bubbling and I think I had indigestion... I was going crazy. I was afraid if I moved my butt I’d end up farting, and the nurses next to me would suffocate or something. And my legs got itchy too since I was lying down. So I tried to move my hand, and they said, You mustn’t move. Are you uncomfortable somewhere? I said, my leg is itchy... Where? There, next to the knee~~ There... there... a little lower... Yes, a little above there... They scratched it for me, nice and relieving. When the surgery was over, the doctor praised me kindly, like speaking to a child, saying I’d endured it very well and done a good job, and wiped my face all the way to the end... looked me over, said it was finished and that I’d worked hard, and then left... I never imagined I’d end up writing a review like this, but I guess I wanted to brag too I had nasal augmentation and nose surgery... This time, more than seeing an unprincipled or authoritarian doctor, I felt something like family?? Maybe because I’d never had surgery this comfortably before, when I left the hospital after the operation, I actually teared up. Maybe because the doctor gave me so much comfort and moved me so much. I also hope there are more doctors like that. I even thought it would be great if they created a special training course like this for doctors, and only people who think first about the patient and can understand things from the patient’s perspective would get medical licenses at different levels~ Even though the nose is covered with a bandage, they say it looks pretty. I’m satisfied too~~ I’m happy with it right now too. I got a room... had the disinfection yesterday came back down and am posting this review~ If you’re scared to the point that, like me, you can only lie down and sleep and imagine the doctor is going to cut your nose off to operate, please gather your courage. I’m satisfied. And also, haha, I directly saw a member whose photo had been posted there. Isn’t that even more amazing? I told them we were surgery school classmates haha Everyone, please become pretty~~~ It was a long review~ I’m posting this review with gratitude to everyone who gave me information from various places.. (thank you to everyone in this community)
