<Before surgery><On day 3><One month><Three months>I used to live thinking, what kind of cosmetic surgery does a man need? But ever since I was young, I heard too often that my first impression wasn’t good, and once I started entering the job market and heard that during personnel evaluations, it stressed me out even more. Whenever the topic of first impressions came up, I’d shrink back without realizing it and lose confidence.. Rather than keep being stressed, I thought I should try changing my impression, so I ended up getting surgery. These days, maybe because medical technology has improved, people say recovery is fast and results look natural even after surgery, so I started looking into it with a positive mindset. But researching clinics online didn’t really suit me and felt difficult, so I went for consultations based on acquaintances’ recommendations. I told the doctor I didn’t want my double eyelids to look big, and that I wanted eyes that looked as subtle as possible, almost like they were there but not there. The doctor had me close and open my eyes first and examined them carefully. Besides that, he also looked at the photos they took and checked them on the computer, and it was more detailed than I expected, so I found it interesting. For the surgery, he suggested removing unnecessary fat from the upper eyelids, doing ptosis correction, and creating inner double eyelids with the buried method. I was anxious, but the doctor confidently said he would make them look natural and good, and I liked the consultation too, so I went through with the surgery. On day 3, people around me said it was still early but there was almost no swelling or bruising. Honestly, since it was my first time, I was worried. I thought if it settled like this, it might look a bit too much... The line felt a little thick, but the doctor said it was swelling and that it would definitely get thinner with time, so I waited. I started feeling like they were becoming inner double eyelids around week 2, and by one month, it felt like they had fully settled. The most interesting thing is that before ptosis correction, my eyes felt heavy even when I was only a little tired, but after surgery, the heaviness I felt in my eyes is reduced, and being able to open my eyes comfortably is the best part. When you just look at me, I look like someone who hasn’t had double eyelid surgery, so friends I met after a long time only said my impression had gotten much better haha. It really doesn’t show, so I’m thinking I did well getting the surgery.
