I had it removed after 11 days.. and now it has been 17 days. I had the surgery without really knowing much, and after the removal I cried and cried and even spent nights awake with my eyes open, but I am trying by taking Rizaben, doing warm compresses and massage, and taking nutritional supplements. Maybe because I had it removed after just 11 days, I had the removal while swelling was still present.. My nasal tip protruded in a very round shape, so a boundary line was visible from the middle of my nose, the upper part of the nasal ala protruded so my nose looked upturned, and the sides of the nasal ala also bulged out, making my nose look bumpy. It is still like that, but I think it is getting better.. I also had alar reduction, but that cannot be reversed.. and it is not like there is any foreign material inside.. But starting about two days after the removal, every time I opened my eyes, I started feeling tightness in the nasal bridge, and I still feel that. Is this because contracture and scar tissue are forming as the wound heals? The nasal tip where the cartilage was removed and the areas where I had alar reduction are okay when I stay still, but when I scrunch my nose or make facial expressions, they feel very stiff and tight.. It does feel a little better when I apply warm compresses.. Has anyone who had removal experienced similar symptoms? When might it get better.. Please give me some advice. And also, maybe because everything for inserting the nasal cartilage was done through the inside of my right nostril, I still have no sensation in the right nasal ala area.. The protrusion next to the nasal ala is also worse on the right side.. Please advise me on this too..
