1. ㄴㅅㅎ (Director ㄱㅈㅇ) The clinic was really big, and there were a lot of staff members. There wasn’t much of a wait (maybe I waited about 5–7 minutes?), and the consultation started right away. I had the consultation with the consultant first, and she first checked how I found out about the clinic, when surgery would be possible, and the schedule. I hadn’t even decided on surgery yet, so I was a bit taken aback when she asked what dates would work. The director came in wearing surgical scrubs, and his consultation style wasn’t one where he looked at things for a long time. That doesn’t mean the explanation was lacking, though.. It felt like he pointed out only what was necessary and explained that. In the director’s view, my eyes right now aren’t that bad-looking either. Since they’re asymmetrical, he recommended matching the line symmetry with an incisional double-eyelid surgery and doing ptosis correction together. He didn’t recommend canthoplasty, and his position was that ptosis correction was necessary. The consultation with the director was okay, but the line he made for me didn’t strongly appeal to me. 2. ㅇㄹ (Director ㅈㅅㅂ) The inside was very clean, and there were a lot of people. I think I waited about 10 minutes. I’ve seen some places where people say they wait 1–2 hours, so this seemed fine. The consultant first showed me photos of cases similar to my eyes and explained things, and said that since my eye-opening strength is weak, my eyes probably need ptosis correction, but I could hear the details from the director. The director used an instrument to make the line for me and explained things calmly. He also checked on the computer how much of the white of my eyes and my dark irises were visible, and looked at all the possibilities for canthoplasty too. Maybe because he wasn’t just looking with the naked eye and talking, it was easy to understand and good. He said incisional surgery is best when correcting asymmetry, and like the consultant said, he said it would be good to do ptosis correction together too. He didn’t recommend anything else. After it ended, the consultant sent me everything from the consultation and the possible dates by KakaoTalk. *I decided to have surgery here. The consultation was good too, but more than anything, I liked the line.. Since this is a revision surgery, I really want the symmetry to be matched well, so I think the place where I like the line is probably the best. 3. ㅇㅂ (Director ㄱㅈㅇ) Here, they suddenly called me the day before the consultation and changed the time They said the director had a surgery scheduled... So I barely managed to adjust my time and went, but I waited over 20 minutes... That was a bit disappointing. The consultant was kind, and when she asked where I saw the clinic, I said a community, and the consultation ended briefly. The director’s style was very straightforward and clear in explaining things. He spoke confidently. Because my skin is thick and I’ve already had my first eye surgery, he recommended doing it by incision, and after repeatedly touching and checking, he recommended ptosis correction and epicanthoplasty together. The consultation with the director ended like that, and the consultant said she would give me a bit of a discount because I had waited a long time, but it was also my first time hearing a recommendation for epicanthoplasty, so I did have quite a lot to think about. I wrote everything down as much as I could remember. For online research, I looked at ㄱㄴㅇㄴ, ㅂㅂㅌ, ㅇㅇㅇ, and ㅅㅇㅅ, but when I went to the clinics, I just said I had only seen them in a community. Something about protecting you or whatever.. because of that.. I have my surgery date set, so time isn’t passing and I’m nervous, but I thought if I did even this, time might pass, so I wrote it.
