My nose is very short and small, and my facial features aren’t very distinct, so the thing I was always told was: The moment you touch your face, you’ll have to change the whole face. My face is definitely not pretty; it’s just cute-looking (not pretty), and my eyes are small and my nose is small too, but they said that still matched the overall harmony of my face. But because I was self-conscious about the side profile, I went around for consultations, and everywhere I went they said I’d probably only need the bridge done, otherwise it wouldn’t suit my face. So I only did the bridge. Even when I consulted with the doctor, he said he’d put it in as naturally as possible, basically filling in the low part of the bridge, so I agreed. But the “natural, natural” song they kept singing really did make it natural from right after surgery. For about a week, when the swelling was still a little there, I thought, wow, I had surgery. But after about a month, the change in the front view wasn’t obvious, and even when friends looked at my side profile they said, “Oh, this is someone who had nose surgery, right?” only after thinking about it..... But I guess I shouldn’t get greedy.. Other people even endured the pain of ear cartilage and spent more money than I did...
