Liposuction Reviews

One-month review of finally getting rid of the arm fat that had bothered me my whole life

If the introduction feels long and you only want the review, you can start reading from '2. After surgery'. 0. Self-introduction before surgery and what led me to it Ever since becoming an adult, I had always had an average body type, around 160 cm / 48-52 kg. Even when I gained weight, I never went over 54 kg, just an ordinary body type. The only part of my otherwise average build that was obese was my upper arms. To give you an idea, there was a time when I was so sick that I had to be hospitalized, and at that time, for the first and only time in my life, I dropped to 38 kg. I was literally skin and bones, but even then my upper arms were big compared with my body. lol I had never worn a sleeveless top on its own in my life, and even when the weather was hot, I always had to throw on at least a thin cardigan. Even with sleeveless tops, I couldn't just wear any regular sleeveless top; I had to wear a halter-neck sleeveless top that could compensate for my body shape, plus a cardigan... That was the kind of body I had. lololol Then, over the past year or so, I gained more than 10 kg for personal reasons, and my upper arms, which had already been a source of stress, looked even more bulky... While talking with my boyfriend at the time, who I have since broken up with, about my sudden weight gain and the stress over my upper arms, he said that my upper arms had always been thicker than his. I was shocked that he had been thinking that. It was not a healthy reason, but that one comment from my ex-boyfriend became the trigger that made me look into liposuction and visit a clinic. 1. Clinic visit and decision to have surgery Before getting plastic surgery, many people probably research a lot of clinics and gather so much information about the procedure that they are almost like clinic consultants, but maybe because I was in a psychologically difficult state, doing a lot of searching felt rather hard for me ^^; After a few searches, I called several clinics, and I visited only one of them. And at that very first clinic I visited, I decided right away to have the surgery. To show how clueless I was when I went, as someone getting liposuction, I only learned the term BioBond for the first time when the consultant explained it to me lol There were three main reasons I decided on surgery. First, it was not a factory-style clinic I am absolutely not disparaging factory-style clinics. I think there are pros and cons depending on the clinic's nature. However, I am someone who gets embarrassed easily, so I was reluctant to be mixed in with other people wearing a surgical gown during the inevitable waiting time. In addition, I also thought that the director's condition would be correlated with the number of surgeries performed. At ㄹㅇㄹㅇ, they said the director performs exactly two surgeries per day, so I thought he would be able to operate more meticulously and delicately in better condition. Second, specialization in liposuction I think this applies not only to cosmetic surgery but to all surgeries: if a doctor has a lot of experience, that experience inevitably becomes skill. Moreover, a blind procedure like liposuction has to be performed by feel alone, so I thought there would be a clear difference between a clinic that 'also' does liposuction and a clinic that focuses intensively 'only' on liposuction. Third, he personally operated on a family member The director said he personally operated on his own older sister. Being able to operate directly on your own family seemed like proof that he had that much confidence in his skills, and I trusted him a lot because of that. The director's refreshingly straightforward and pleasant way of speaking, and the fact that everyone from the director down to all the staff members was kind, were secondary factors, but they were also elements that made the clinic feel trustworthy. 2. After surgery On the first day, it hurt so much that I could not even move my arms, but they said walking a lot would be good, so until the second week after surgery, I walked for more than an hour every day except on rainy days. Maybe because of the walking, my bruises disappeared quickly too. The major bruises were all gone in 3-4 days, and the small yellow bruises were all gone in under ten days.  When I visited two weeks later to have the stitches removed, I was told that my swelling was also going down quickly. My compression garment had gotten loose, so when I visited around week 3 to have it altered, the owner of the compression garment company said this lol: compared with my body, only my arms were too thin. As someone who had spent my whole life only hearing that my arms were too thick compared with my body, I cannot even describe how happy I was to hear that. Of course, it has only been one month since surgery, so there is still some minor residual swelling, but my size has also gone down by 5 cm, from 31 cm to 26 cm. Considering that I still weigh over 60 kg, I think this is a very decent result. I am very satisfied~ Lastly, as I mentioned, I am very shy, so I covered up a lot here and there, but I worked up the courage to post a few before-and-after photos... lolol I intentionally took the pre-op photos wearing tight clothes to compare the before and after, and now at one month post-op, there is room around my upper arms Once more swelling goes down, I will come back to write another review lol

This review is for a surgery review pursuing natural beauty.
