Leaving a review of my upturned nose surgery~

After going in and out of this community and gathering information for 3 years, I finally had nose surgery. I went to consultations here and there and looked into it a lot, but my nose was so upturned, and there was basically no trace of a nasal tip or columella, so I had a lot of worries. Since I was doing it anyway, I even thought about going to a hospital specializing in upturned noses... For consultations in Seoul, I went to ㅇㅇㅎ, ㅊㅇㅅ, and ㅍㅇㅌ, those three places, and in the area where I live I went around to every hospital there was. I think I visited about ten places in total. If I had surgery in Seoul, I had nowhere suitable to stay, so I just had it done locally. For the surgical method, they lengthened my nose with ear cartilage, raised the bridge with silicone, used the remaining ear cartilage for the columella, and carved a piece of silicone to put into the nasal tip. When I first got the antibiotic injection, wow, the sky looked yellow (though I couldn't see any sky anyway;), everything in front of me was spinning, heat suddenly rushed through my body, and I seriously felt like I was going crazy. I had already paid for everything, but I kept thinking, should I just stop now... should I just live with my own nose. The nurse was trying to find a vein, but my veins are really thin, so she couldn't find one well and kept poking me with the needle.. -_- Once she finally found a vein and told me to lie down on the operating table, the heat went down a bit and I felt better. From then on, tears just burst out; they trimmed my nose hairs, disinfected my face, and disinfected my ear, and tears kept streaming nonstop. Uheuheong Really, without thinking about anything, just! Tears kept coming, and I even remembered sad moments from my life up to now; then off I went into the world of sleep anesthesia... A lot of people said it feels like riding a roller coaster, but for me there was nothing like that. I just fell asleep quietly lol. A lot of people talk in their sleep during surgery, but apparently I slept through the whole thing without knowing the world; they said the doctor explained things after the surgery was over, but even then I was sound asleep.. zzz My mom woke me up, and only then did I get up. I don't think I had much dizziness or anything like that. It has now been 5 days since the surgery, and rather than the operated area of my nose hurting, the place where the ear cartilage was taken throbs and hurts much more. My nose doesn't hurt at all, and even during disinfection it's just tolerable. Some people say nose surgery hurts a lot, but I think that depends on the person. Before surgery I was extremely scared and worried about all sorts of things (what if the silicone protrudes, what if Gore-Tex can't be removed, what if the upturned nose correction doesn't work, etc.), but once I went ahead and did it, my mind became really at ease. Well.. right now my face looks like a monster, I have a lot of bruising under my eyes, and my face is quite swollen lololol. Still, I can see my eyes enough to put in lenses, so I'm wearing lenses and writing this now hehe Because of the characteristics of my nose, I didn't think, it has to come out like a celebrity's nose. I just wanted it to become like an ordinary nose, so I was picky about choosing a hospital before surgery, but after surgery I don't feel any burden or worry like what if it goes wrong. My nose was truly a complex for me, so I think I'm glad I had the surgery, but if I had just had some nasal bridge and an ordinary nose, I would have lived with it as it was. I chose surgery because it wasn't an ordinary nose. I think cosmetic surgery is something you shouldn't do unless you really desperately want it. The doctor who operated on me said, there is no guarantee it will go 100% well, but surgery is done because it goes well 99% of the time. There is a 99% possibility, but also a 1% failure... what does that even mean -_-; Anyway, the conclusion is that unless you have basically no nose like me, there is no need to touch it.;; It's only day 5, so there isn't much correction effect yet; Once all the swelling goes down, I'll reveal the before-and-after photos ^.^
