I didn’t want nasal surgery and didn’t want to deal with side effects, so after thinking about it for a long time, I decided to only get alar reduction! I searched through a community and other apps, made a consultation list, and went last weekend!! 1. ㅎㅇㅂ -As everyone knows, it’s a factory-style clinic -I consulted in the order of consultant, doctor, consultant, but I was disappointed because the consultation time with the doctor was a bit short. Also, they only answered what I asked and didn’t really additionally analyze my nose or anything like that -To be honest, I didn’t really plan on getting it done here, but it’s the most famous and seemed to have become famous through viral marketing, so I went because I was curious -They didn’t recommend any additional procedures -But what I saw on the app was under the condition that I send 100 photos, so I just ruled it out right away! -They recommended external incision 2. ㄷㅌㅇㅌ -This place isn’t that famous, but after looking at the review photos, most of them didn’t seem edited, and there was a shape I wanted, so I visited. -The consultant recommended lifting the nasal tip and also doing alar reduction. It wasn’t pressure, just a recommendation. I had actually thought the same, so I didn’t really mind. The consultant wasn’t extremely kind, but was honest. (She told me my nasal bridge is low.. haha) -I waited about 20 minutes -To be honest, I had zero expectations, but the director was so kind and even used a nose cartilage model while answering every question I asked in detail, and explained it by applying it to my nose? in an easy-to-understand way. I think I asked more than 10 questions so I wouldn’t get taken advantage of, but he didn’t show any annoyance, answered everything, and kept saying I could ask if I had anything else I was curious about. He also told me scars can remain and said he would make the incision as closely as possible along the lower alar line -He recommended both internal and external incision (but it felt kind of like semi-external/internal..?) -It wasn’t factory-style, and it felt like they recommended what would suit the patient’s nose shape 3. ㅇㅇㅈㅇ -Interestingly, here I went straight into consultation with the director! -The director said he has only done noses for over 10 years or so And while looking at my nose shape, he held it with a cotton swab and said it would be reduced about this much -But this director only does internal incision or non-incisional methods. I asked, “Between external and internal incision, which would suit my nose better?” and he said he pursues internal incision because it leaves less scarring, and if I’m curious about external incision, I should go ask a director who does external incision He clearly has an approach he pursues, and I think it’s probably a natural, barely-done look -Then next, the consultant showed me in detail how patients’ scars remain. (Oh, and what surprised me the most was that she wasn’t the kind of consultant you see at Gangnam plastic surgery clinics who looks like she has had everything done) And the consultant had a slight feeling of a Japanese person speaking Korean, so I wondered if she was Japanese..? But to say that, her Korean was too good. Looking at the clinic’s Instagram, though, it seemed like they accept Japanese clients. Also, there was absolutely no recommendation for additional procedures, and they told me to visit all the other clinics too and decide slowly -This place also wasn’t factory-style and is run by a single director -All the other staff were kind too -They recommended internal incision (but this director does internal incision or non-incisional methods for everyone) 4. ㅅㅇㅋ -This place also seems factory-style -First of all, the consultant was a bit unfriendly.. I thought maybe she was tired because it was around 5 PM..? and just let it go But even the director felt a bit careless. My trust dropped here... When I asked the director questions, he only answered the questions.. Then he said, “If you come, I’ll do a good job for you,” and left.. haha... -He recommended both internal and external incision, and looking at the reviews, it seems like they tell almost everyone to do both internal and external incision If you have anything you’re curious about, you can ask!
