Does nasal tip swelling actually go down? And does alar swelling also last long...

It has been almost 2 months since surgery now. Until the first month, I could see the swelling gradually going down, but for about 3 weeks after that, scar tissue formed inside my nose and my nose suddenly looked bigger. Anyway, every time I looked in the mirror, my nose looked different, so I was extremely stressed. People around me tell me not to stress too much and that time is the best medicine, but in other areas I can at least see slight changes as they swell and go down. With the nasal tip, I feel depressed wondering whether this really does go down with time. The nasal tip is especially round and bulbous. I did not originally have a bulbous nose, and right after surgery my nose was sharp and small. Now other parts seem to be almost returning to their place, but the nasal tip in particular is not going down. They say that by around 6 months, the nasal tip swelling all goes down, but does it really go down? Also, at first, because of swelling, the overall height of the nose was quite high, so the alae looked elongated too, and from below both sides had a pretty isosceles-triangle shape. But as the swelling in the nasal bridge went down and the height settled, the apex became lower, and the alae are gradually spreading sideways. When I touch them, they are not soft like my old alae and I feel a slight thickness, so I wonder if it is swelling. I really liked the initial state of the alae because they were so pretty, but as they keep spreading sideways, I feel like my nose is becoming less pretty. Is this also swelling, or is it hardening into this shape? People usually say the nose shape right after surgery becomes the final nose shape later. Is that true? Right after surgery, I liked it because it had been made exactly how I wanted, but I do not know if it can settle that way or if my tissue quality is not good. How was it for everyone?
