I’m posting because I want to have removal surgery. It’s so hard to get the answers I want. I feel like, if only there were a plastic surgeon in my family.. I had Gore-Sili 3 mm, septal extension, and narrowing of the nasal bones. It has been about one month and one week, so when is the best time for removal? Some say after 6 months is good, but after 6 months, won’t the septal cartilage have adhered and make it difficult? (Is this why it’s better to do it early?) Also, if the narrowing of the nasal bones cannot be restored, would my nose become bumpy or look strange if only the silicone and septal cartilage are removed? (In the case of osteotomy? medialization? where the nasal bones were brought inward, does it become uneven?) I heard that if the bone was shaved smooth, there are no bumpy cases, but what about my case? Right now it is very hard and I can’t make a pig nose, but rather than the pig nose itself being meaningful, I want to return to my natural nose that much. After removal, even if the nasal bones remain narrowed, will I be able to make a pig nose? I read that osteotomy and making a pig nose are unrelated, but since I’m having removal done, I’m curious whether it will be possible. If everything can be removed, after removing everything, does the narrowed nasal bone state remain? If so, even with the nasal bones narrowed, can I return to a natural nose? Will it become soft and able to make a pig nose?
