I had Smile Pro LASIK on July 5, 2024, and I wore glasses for nearly 20 years... Wearing glasses was not hugely inconvenient in daily life, and I didn’t really think I absolutely had to get LASIK. While learning a sport, glasses became inconvenient. The advantages are 1. Being able to choose sunglasses just by looking at the design, without worrying - Because I needed prescription lenses, even buying one pair of sunglasses wasn’t easy 2. Wearing sunglasses while driving is so comfortable - When driving, if a tunnel appears, there are occasionally times when it is dark and I have to take off my sunglasses, and at those times it is so convenient and nice. 3. It made me think about trying to learn water sports. - This is also something I had kept a bit distant from because of glasses. The disadvantages are 1. My eyes are very weak. - My eyes hurt a lot in sunlight or slightly strong light - Also, I can’t focus for a long time on a monitor or iPad. 2. It is hard to read books. - This may be because of age (presbyopia), but small writing is now hard to see 3. My eyes get dry too easily. - When I have to focus and do something, or when my condition drops, my eyes get really dry. I use artificial tears way too much. I think that’s about it...
