<Why I got revision surgery,, lol For reference, this was my 3rd surgery><When I wore makeup before the revision, it looked about this much better,,,??><During recovery, so there’s swelling, but you can see the uneven eyes were corrected><Photo taken with makeup on at 1 month!>You can probably tell just from the photos, but I’m someone who usually wears really light makeup,, Maybe because of that, after my first surgery failed and then my revision failed too~ my eyes looked uneven and swollen like sausages, and it was absolutely impossible to cover with makeup I tried once in 2015 and then scraped together every bit of money I had in 2016 to get revision surgery,, and after that I honestly wondered, is double eyelid surgery just not meant for me? My eyes were absolutely not something I was satisfied with. The clinic only said it turned out well according to what I wanted.. A few years later, I thought about looking into it again, so I searched for the clinic I had gone to back then, and even the doctor who was in charge of me was gone;; I’m not saying all big clinics are like that, but unless it’s a private clinic, it seems like doctors often change,, I’m the one who has to live with the results for life after plastic surgery, so where did they go So for my third surgery, I decided to look only at private clinics from the start,, Doing that made it a bit more advantageous because it became easier to find eye-specialized clinics? I narrowed it down mainly to well-known clinics and went for consultations, and among the places where I felt the consultation was a bit ambiguous,, I found a clinic that gave me confidence, so I ended up getting revision surgery there Usually, when you get a consultation because you’re unhappy with the line, most places just look at the line and say something like, this is how we can do the revision, right? But this place said that the line itself was actually similar, and that because I had ptosis, it looked more asymmetric,, They said I needed ptosis correction for the uneven eyes to be corrected properly, so I found that really interesting,, They took photos of my eyes beforehand and then I went into the consultation, and the director even checked the exposure ratio of the pupils in both eyes? during the consultation. It was the first place that examined things in that much detail, so I decided on it Maybe because I’ve had double eyelid surgery several times, I obviously expected some swelling and bruising to a certain extent, but after a week? two weeks? even taking the swelling into account, I could clearly feel that the uneven eyes had been corrected. And I really, really, really wanted natural-looking eyes,, Even though I had an incision method + ptosis correction + fat removal, my eye shape didn’t change in a burdensome way, so I’m satisfied Besides that, I liked everything: 3 years of AS, lots of follow-up care, and the fact that even after surgery, the director & consultant kept consistently checking my progress,, But honestly, more than those things, I’m happier because the surgical result turned out well~ I already didn’t wear much makeup, but eyeliner was the one thing I always defended. Now I don’t even draw eyeliner!! I think that’s how much my satisfaction has gone up
