I had surgery with silicone and septal cartilage, and had it removed because of inflammation. Sigh... inflammation isn’t something that really gets treated and cured. Even if it gets better, months later, when your body is tired.. or you’re sick, it relapses right away... I should have just removed it from the start... I feel like the antibiotics I took trying to cure the inflammation only ruined my body more. The surgery didn’t take long... and it wasn’t painful or anything. I’d like to ask those who have had removal a few things. 1. I heard contracture can happen after removal. Does it start coming after about a week has passed? And does it happen to everyone? I had a foreign-body reaction and inflammation, so if contracture is going to happen, I think I need to prepare myself mentally a little. 2. There isn’t as much swelling as I expected. Of course, after I sleep and wake up tomorrow, there will probably be swelling... but how many days does it usually take to return to normal daily life? Anyway... I feel relieved...
