I had surgery at 3 yesterday, and after dressing at 10 this morning, the doctor didn’t put the splint back on today. You know, the one that looks like a piece of metal and firmly holds the middle of the nasal bridge. They said my nose is very swollen, so it’s not good to put it back on right now, and they’ll put it back on tomorrow? Then will it be okay for my nose shape if I go without the splint for about a day? Yesterday, after surgery, I got home around 6 in the evening. I was scared that if I did cold compresses wrong and touched my nasal bridge, it might get deformed, so I didn’t do them, and because of that my nose swelled more. Because I thought the compress wasn’t on the nose anyway, but around the eyes near the nose... my eyes weren’t very swollen, so I thought I didn’t need to do it... I didn’t know it would affect the nose too. Seeing that I can’t even wear the splint because of the nasal swelling makes me so scared.
