When I was 21, I went for a double eyelid surgery consultation without knowing anything. At the first consultation, they took one look at my eyes and recommended the full course: double eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, lateral canthoplasty, even a forehead lift (;), so I somehow made a reservation, but the more I thought about it, the more I felt this wasn’t right. I was totally ignorant about plastic surgery, but I had a really strong aversion to the forehead lift. So I booked one more consultation and said it was fine if my eyes were just a bit small and not celebrity-like, and asked them to just do double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction, so that’s what I did. So the conclusion is, it was a huge success.. lol My eyes used to be thin and long with ptosis, but now they’re defined. Maybe because I didn’t do lateral canthoplasty, they aren’t that big, but the line is seriously art. And it’s natural, so no one knows I had double eyelid surgery. The only thing is, when I was under anesthesia, I had intense hallucinations. (I’ve seen a few reviews like that too; maybe it’s a drug issue.) If I’d done everything they recommended back then, I think I would’ve regretted it. Keep that in mind.
