At first, I had a full-incision double eyelid surgery with ptosis correction. They recommended epicanthoplasty, but I didn’t do it. One side came undone, so I had it redone about 8 months later, but only on one side. Right now, the operated side is 4 months post-op, and I think it may become an inner double eyelid after 6 to 8 months. The opposite eye that wasn’t operated on has a completely hidden double eyelid, and my eyeball feels irritated as if there is sand or a thread in it. The eyelid feels heavy, so only half of my pupil is visible. I also have eye pain, but the doctor doesn’t seem to care much. I’m the one in pain, so why are they saying it’s fine? I was stupid for only having one side operated on the first time I shouldn’t have trusted the doctor’s words.......... The opposite eye that wasn’t operated on is now 1 year and 2 months post-op, and since it’s like this, I’m debating whether to just go to the same hospital and have only one side incised again. Or whether, after about 6 months have passed since the opposite-side surgery, I should ask them to redo and match both sides, or since I’m doubtful of their skill, whether I should go to another hospital. There is also a hospital saying they can operate on the eye that is currently 4 months post-op. I heard you need to wait at least 6 months, but they say there’s no problem. When I close my eyes, it still looks obvious....... Has anyone had revision surgery at 4 months?? If it turned out well, I’d rather do it now too If I do it now, it would be the third time on one eye I’m so upset..
