Liposuction Reviews

Thigh liposuction + calf reduction surgery (severe asymmetry)

These days I feel like I could die. Now that spring is slowly coming, only my legs will stand out even more... I really can’t live with legs like this As for my surgeries, I had liposuction twice, and calf reduction surgery once. The liposuction was about 5 years ago, and the calf surgery was about 2 years ago. For reference, my upper body is slim and I have no breasts. My lower body is an extremely fat, unbalanced body type.... I was born with the same genetic issue from my mother’s side, so my body feels cursed. Fortunately I’m tall and have a small face, so I only look slim anyway But....the problem is the severe asymmetry. Leaving the unevenness aside, even the color has changed. In my thick legs, the calf muscle on the left has grown back about halfway, and on the right it has completely come back For about a year after surgery I was truly happy..... If you look at the photos, you’ll understand... that my lower body is cursed... I’ll upload two photos taken by a friend They show my calves and the back view!! I think I may have to go through that nightmare surgery again So, there’s a hospital I visited for a consultation last Saturday. I went in together with a friend and got the consultation!! I was scared to go alone because I thought it would be hard to decide on my own and I might make the wrong decision They asked me to show my legs and told me to take my clothes off,,,,, I was so embarrassed I felt like cutting my legs off, and I came out crying, begging the doctor to save me I had the liposuction done at a dermatology clinic in Dongdaemun, and the calf surgery at a hospital near Gangnam Station that was supposed to be good, but the doctor at the hospital I consulted this time said..... It seemed like they were all done by people who just do a moderate amount of liposuction There are parts of liposuction that are hard to remove and parts that are easy to remove, and if you remove only the easy parts, it looks as if a line has formed after surgery, so right after the operation you feel satisfied.... But as time passes, the areas that have adhered and the areas that haven’t become distinct, so it becomes uneven, and in cases like mine, that leads to severe asymmetry. The doctor here seemed like a complete expert. She was a female doctor, and she explained everything carefully and spoke with confidence, saying that it could be done!! She said it wasn’t experience from a few hundred cases but from several thousand, and she does only one surgery a day, with such dedication to surgery that both the patient and the doctor can be satisfied Then... she said I would need major reconstruction. She said it’s easy if you’re asked to make a work of art on a blank sheet of paper, but difficult if you’re asked to redraw on paper someone else has already drawn on............. I was really sad How could she explain it so clearly even though I hadn’t said it myself.... Because she understood how I felt, I ended up crying without even realizing it. My friend was laughing next to me taking photos with her iPhone to keep a record!! What would she know about what’s inside me Later, when we came out, I asked why she was laughing!! and she said it felt like a sitcom Anyway, I don’t regret getting liposuction, but I really realized that it’s better to be treated by an expert from the start. I hope this liposuction will be my last.... I’m wondering whether I can trust this doctor... Still, I’m worried that it might turn out badly again like before... Doctors really are amazing. How do they speak so professionally that they make people trust them so much.... I do tend to be easily swayed, but because the lower body is an area I’m very sensitive about, I think I’m even more trusting Ah ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I don’t know where or how I should have surgery again. If I have the surgery within this month, it seems like the timing would be perfect for preparing for spring, but although the price isn’t easy on the wallet, more important than the price is that once I start doubting everything, it becomes hard to choose a hospital again. I’m sure everyone has their own stress, but like me, please don’t go through two or three difficult surgeries without thoroughly researching. If you rush in because it’s cheap, there will be a day when major reconstruction ends up happening in an instant I’m really torn about whether to go to more hospital consultations and decide, or to choose the hospital I’ve already visited and pay a bit more for something certain Oh, and at the time the doctor said after liposuction, I should do yoga or stretching, and that other kinds of exercise will inevitably build muscle the more you do them....I think after liposuction everyone needs to take good care of their body. I’m mentioning this because I thought it might be helpful^^
