Hello I had ptosis correction, epicanthoplasty, and incisional double-eyelid surgery at a plastic surgery clinic in Gangnam 6 days ago~ Ugh, but it still seems unnatural,, And these days, monolids are charming too, so I’m wondering if I looked better before,,, Please tell me if the line looks pretty! When I look at the before-and-after photos, you can barely tell I had epicanthoplasty I still haven’t had the stitches removed from the lower part of the epicanthoplasty. I’m going to get them removed tomorrow~ So maybe it’s because there’s still swelling,,, Around when will I be able to go outside without glasses or a hat? And before the surgery, I was so nervous that my face even turned red, but once I actually went in and had the surgery, I realized why people say double-eyelid surgery isn’t even really surgery It just felt like going to the dentist. I had sedation + local anesthesia, and when they did the local anesthesia it stung sometimes, and there was sometimes a smell like squid burning (probably my flesh though), and they were cutting around my eyes with scissors, and the thread kept tickling my eyes, things like that happened, but there was almost no pain, less than I expected! But more than anything, I think your mindset before going into surgery is important. The more nervous you are, the more you tense your eyes, so you bleed more, get more bruising, and swell more. If you’re about to have it done, steel yourself before you go~ For swelling, I drink 2-3 pumpkin juices a day, take my medication regularly, exactly 30 minutes after meals, and kept endlessly repeating ice packs with gauze on a high pillow. The nurse said that after removing the stitches from the lower part of the epicanthoplasty, I should start warm compresses, but,,,,,,maybe because I iced too much, I’m getting lazy about it,, Still, I should do it, right!! I’m eating steamed sweet pumpkin and avoiding all greasy and irritating foods. I’m properly living a recovery-homebody life. I’m the type who normally swells easily, but I’m relieved that the swelling right now doesn’t seem as huge as I worried it would be. Those planning surgery, please take this as a reference~~
