(★It’s day 11 after surgery lol I still have a bit of an Avatar look left, right If just the swelling between my eyebrows goes down a bit more, I think the line I like will come out just as it is!^^ Everyone may think it doesn’t look that pretty or it’s just so-so right now But if you look at it together with photos of my nose before surgery, I really, really had a major glow-up Before surgery, let alone profile shots, I never even took photos where my nose was visible, so I don’t have any So I asked the hospital to email me the before-and-after photos they took, but they haven’t sent them yet, so I’ll upload the pre-op photos as soon as the email comes~) I had surgery last Monday morning! I had a bulbous nose with no nasal tip at all, it was short, and it was slightly crooked too-_- literally a total disaster I had osteotomy through a closed approach, silicone 3-4 mm for the nasal bridge, and for the nasal tip they tied my own cartilage and placed ear cartilage on top~ My eyes are big, I have some cheekbones, and my chin is pointy;;; Some people around me told me not to do it, saying my round nose at least made my image less sharp, while others said because my eyes are big, my nose should also look open and defined, and that my nose was the problem so I should get surgery, and then one day my father said there was a plastic surgery clinic run by one of his juniors, at first they said they specialized in short noses, so I went along for a consultation with an older acquaintance who had a severe upturned, short nose, and since he was my dad’s school friend, he adjusted the cost to match the money I had saved, so I immediately set a date for a week later and I got the surgery They told me not to eat anything from the night before surgery, so I held back,, I thought I’d die of hunger Since it was a morning surgery, I woke up and went straight to the hospital, met the director, and I said unconditionally, “Please make it high and defined but natural!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please make it like the legendary bulbous-nose transformation, Im Soo-jung!” what nonsense They put the anesthesia needle into my arm and I suddenly said, I think I’m going to throw up! and then the anesthesia............. Isn’t sleep anesthesia strange? You fly through rainbow outer space When I came to, I felt like something was being taken off my ear; I could feel it but it didn’t hurt, kind of a dazed feeling? And then I guess they did the osteotomy, there was a zzzzzing~ sound and the sound of suction sucking things up I had heard they usually hit with a hammer during osteotomyㅡㅡ;;;;;; and was totally scared, but I liked that it was a zzzzzing sound After that, the surgery ended, I heard the sound of taping, got up, lay in the recovery room for thirty minutes, and took a taxi home by myself On the first day, they had stuffed my nose with disinfected gauze, so it was hard to breathe and miserable Most of all, my ear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My ear hurt!!!!!!!! My nose didn’t hurt at all, but my ear,, I thought it would burst I was determined not to swell, so I slept sitting up and stayed up all night I kept eating only pumpkin porridge and kept doing cold compresses~ cold compresses~ cold compresses! The next day, after the gauze was removed, I felt a bit alive again I could taste food when eating too cold compresses, cold compresses~ staying seated as much as possible Then after having surgery on Monday, I took off all the taping and splint on Saturday! Ah, so refreshing I had an Avatar look, with some yellow bruising and red bruising around the glasses marks too At the place where I had surgery, the stitches inside the nose dissolve on their own, so I didn’t have to go separately to remove nasal stitches, and on day 10 I had the ear stitches removed and took photos! They say bulbous noses usually have low satisfaction after surgery So from the start I didn’t expect something like Lee Hyori’s or Song Hye-kyo’s nose, thinking, the foundation is different! I just thought, let’s get a nose better than before surgery! Let’s improve from now! That’s how I went into surgery, so I’m satisfied~ From the front, there is still some swelling left, so it’s slightly round, but the swelling goes down differently every day, so I can feel it getting slimmer! The osteotomy areas are getting narrower too~ From the side, the nasal bridge is definitely higher, and it’s no longer a short nose now! My nostrils used to just be two perfect circles, but now, how should I describe this, like upright green peas? I like my nostrils too They’re not uneven either so moved Whenever I go to the clinic for disinfection and see my pre-op photos in the chart, it’s fascinating now, fascinating that it became a completely different nose, like so this was my nose... me,, I’m enjoying each day watching the swelling go down, constantly looking in the mirror, checking my profile, and taking selfies The ending feels awkward, yes.. the end!
