I had it removed!

I think I had it removed after almost 40 days. First of all, it was crooked, I didn’t like the change in my image, and more than anything, the foreign-body sensation was... So in the end, I had everything removed. Ah, of course, after more than a month, the foreign-body sensation did gradually go away. Removal is still surgery too, so there is some throbbing I had silicone + a septal support strut used. I wanted everything removed, so I asked the doctor to remove it all, and fortunately they said everything was removed. Usually, what becomes an issue is that if removal is done through an open approach, scarring can be a problem. The next issue can be the shape. They obviously couldn’t guarantee 100%, but they said the earlier it is removed, the easier it is to return to the original state. And when a septal support strut is used at the nasal tip, people describe it as “collapsing,” but strictly speaking, the nose spreads out. They said that because the nasal tip alar cartilages are tied together while being supported with the septal strut, when the septum is removed and the tied area is released, the nasal tip alar cartilages can spread. In that case, sometimes they leave a very small amount of septum behind. Before surgery, they also told me they might leave a little, but fortunately there was no problem, so they removed everything. What I worried about most was that some places said the sooner the better, while others said it has to be done after 6 months. After going to consultations at several places, I was told that up to 6-7 weeks after surgery, the surrounding tissue is turning into scar tissue and that scar tissue has not hardened yet, so there usually isn’t a major problem even if removal is done. So I think removal is okay if it hasn’t been more than 2 months since surgery. Of course, the safest timing is before passing 1 month or after 6 months, but they said even up to 2 months there usually isn’t a big issue. Right now I’ve been prescribed medications such as antibiotics and digestive medicine. (one week’s worth) If my nose still hurts after a week, I’m thinking of getting a prescription for Rizaben and taking it. What I realized through this is that with the nose, unless it is really very unattractive, I think it’s best not to touch it. If someone does get it done, whether it’s silicone or cartilage, I’d like to recommend only surgeries like nostril reduction or tying the cartilage, without putting in implants.
