I went for consultations at about four clinics, but every single one said nothing about cartilage repositioning and said there was no need for it. They said that aside from the concept that cartilage repositioning is a revision surgery, if you remove it, you simply just remove it. But at clinics specializing in removal, some say it needs to be repositioned. In one way, it also feels like they might just be trying to make money by saying repositioning is necessary and charging a revision-surgery fee. I don’t know what’s what.
