I had surgery in Daegu when I was a student, and I went to about 5 consultations For people living in Daegu who are interested in plastic surgery, there were three hospitals you’ve probably heard of at least once, one hospital I went into impulsively while I was downtown, and one hospital in Suseong-gu that my mom’s acquaintance introduced me to, so I went to those places The hospitals downtown said that if I wanted incisional surgery, I would have to do epicanthoplasty and ptosis correction too I didn’t want my image to change that much, and I only wanted double eyelids But at the hospital in Suseong-gu, the director said that in his view, the buried-suture method alone would probably be enough, and since I was still young as a student, my face would likely change going forward. He said I could do the buried-suture method and later, if I didn’t like it, I could redo it with an incision above. The director said he also went back and forth every week to the main branch in Gangnam and gave lectures overseas.. Well, specs like that may be everywhere in Seoul, but there aren’t many in the provinces, so I trusted him and got the surgery. Since I did the buried-suture method, it was really natural, so people meeting me for the first time absolutely don’t know. Even if I tell them, they say, “You had it done? My eyes are the ones that look untouched, but yours seem more natural” Kids at the same school who had double eyelid surgery would also tell me to close my eyes and ask why I had no line even when I closed them.. But the downside is that because it was the buried-suture method, after about two years, the line started coming undone from the outer end The front part was still pinched, and the back was faint, so when I put tension between my eyebrows, my eyes looked triangular I used to show it to friends as a personal talent But since the outer ends drooped, I think it also made me look a little innocent.. (Innocent or whatever, the problem is that I’m not pretty..) These days I’m thinking of getting them pinched again, but during surgery it was done under local anesthesia, so it hurt a little..
