4 weeks after my first nose surgery! First-timers, please do your research carefully!

I just came back from the hospital after getting my follow-up check today, so I’m writing this. Since it was my first surgery, I really knew nothing and just picked one hospital and went in lol honestly, looking back now, it was such a dangerous and stupid thing to do, but I was the type who didn’t do any research at all and just trusted the coordinator and the doctor, went for a consultation on the same day, and booked the surgery for that same day.. Even during the consultation I only said things like, “Make it pretty and make me look younger! I like Shin Se-kyung’s nose because it’s pretty!” so I had no clear direction for the design, and the coordinator looked at my face and recommended the nose line for me... Thinking about it now, it feels terrifyingly crazy. Luckily I met an angel-like coordinator, so I think I was just very lucky! (Maybe my name is on a blacklist somewhere..) At week 1, when the splint came off, I really bothered the coordinator a lot. I said it seemed wrong and that I would take the silicone out even though it hadn’t even been a week since surgery, said I’d get revision surgery at week 2, sent photos every day, and kept contacting them saying something felt wrong...... Honestly, no joke, if the coordinator hadn’t taken care of me when I passed week 2, I probably would have gone to another hospital and had it removed. (I even went back to the hospital in week 3 with desserts because I felt so sorry) And today at my week-4 visit, there’s no nasal infection, no scar tissue, and breathing is fine! But! I think I’ll probably get revision surgery.. not right away, but I’m planning to decide after seeing whether the nose swelling goes down by June..! There will definitely be someone like me. Don’t ignore uncomfortable reviews thinking, “I’m the exception,” and don’t just charge ahead after only reading the pretty reviews that make you think you’ll magically be all done after surgery. Don’t get fixated on one hospital and rush in just because of the reviews; make sure you go around and consult at many places!!!!!! Nose surgery is the center of the face, so even though I finally had the nose surgery I had wanted so badly, somehow my whole face seems a little better before, and even though my pre-op face felt more natural, somehow I think I look prettier now, and it really feels like human greed has no end. + Before surgery, take lots and lots of photos and videos with the default camera, not a filter!!!!!!!!!!! After surgery, I keep comparing with the old photos, but since they’re all filtered photos, it’s frustrating that there are so few objectively comparable pictures
