I had IPL treatment in 2004, right when IPL had first been introduced. I received 2 sessions at 300,000 won per session. I got it because of facial redness. For the first week, my skin was swollen and looked worse, but after a week, once it recovered to some extent, the redness improved and my skin tone became much brighter. I think the director who performed the treatment at the time used a fairly strong level. After that, I continued getting it about two or three times a year, but in recent years I haven't had time to get it. There is talk that doing it continuously can make the skin sensitive, but when I do get it, I do feel it definitely has an effect.
