I didn’t have inflammation, but the silicone was showing through and my nose was crooked, so I had revision surgery. Because my nose was crooked, I had osteotomy, Gore-Tex, and ear cartilage. Today is day 20, and maybe because it was revision surgery plus osteotomy, the swelling isn’t going down as quickly as before. My original nose wasn’t that bad-looking either, so I regret getting rhinoplasty. Since I was in a situation where osteotomy was needed for the revision, I searched for a well-known ENT specialist and had it done there. If you’re considering rhinoplasty, I think it would be good to look at revision surgery reviews. Around me, people seem to end up having revision rhinoplasty even when their nose doesn’t get inflamed.
