Using donated costal cartilage for a first surgery

Absorption is also fairly possible with septal cartilage and ear cartilage too.. If only one place recommended costal cartilage for now, I think it would be better to visit other clinics and decide I had my nose done with donated costal cartilage at a clinic, and it turned out well without any drooping, so I actually felt like I was glad I used costal cartilage.

Did they recommend using only donated costal cartilage? I think it would be good to visit other clinics too. I do know that donated costal cartilage tends to be absorbed more easily than autologous costal cartilage

[@햇살콩] I'm going to another place tomorrow, and I feel like donated costal cartilage will come up again. Does that absorption mean it behaves separately from my own nose?

Ah, I'm worried about this too, but I also feel like using donated costal cartilage from the first surgery might be a bit unsettling.

When I went for a consultation, they said donated costal cartilage has too many mixed opinions because of absorption, so the place I went to didn't recommend it.

If you look at the absorption rate, it is true that donated costal cartilage is absorbed more easily. Any clinic you go to will probably say that. But autologous costal cartilage has the downside of leaving a scar, so each has pros and cons. I think you should think about that before getting surgery. For me, no matter how I thought about it, the scar felt burdensome, so I used donated costal cartilage at a clinic..
