It has been 6 days since I had rhinoplasty. I had my septum used, dorsal hump shaved, crooked nose corrected, and because my nasal bridge was low, I wanted to put in a lot of silicone, but they said if too much is inserted, the silicone could show through, so I put in 2.5, and the nasal cartilage was done with septal cartilage. The surgery was done under sedation and local anesthesia. During surgery there was no pain at all, but because of the cotton packed inside my nose, I thought I was going to die for 3 days. Not being able to breathe through my nose was so hard and painful I still haven’t had the stitches removed and I’m going tomorrow to have them removed. But the swelling and bruising around my eyes are so severe. Also, I’m worried because the nasal tip looks so upturned. They said it’s because of swelling, but if it doesn’t come down, that would be a big problem
