It’s been about a year since I had cheekbone surgery~ As I got older and lost facial fat, only my cheekbones stood out unusually, so I was so stressed every time I looked in the mirror. At first I thought about getting cheek filler, but in the end I got cheekbone surgery. I thought it would be better to do it all at once. I thought it would be extremely painful, but once I actually had the surgery, it didn’t hurt, I only bruised slightly, and I recovered quickly. And since my cheekbones definitely went in a lot, I really like how smooth my cheek line looks in photos, so I think I’m glad I did it. But people say that no matter how well cheekbone surgery is done, side effects always come with it, and it’s the same for me. One side of my cheek has a slight tingling/numb sensation, like the feeling when skin anesthesia is slowly wearing off. I thought it would go away with time, but even now, after a year, the skin sensation is the same. I think it may be a side effect I’ll probably have to live with, but I still think that much is bearable. I don’t have any cheek sagging or skin laxity at all, and cosmetically I’m satisfied because I look prettier if anything, with almost nothing that looks strange~ Cheekbone surgery carries a big risk and needs to be chosen carefully, but I think with that much caution, satisfaction still follows~
