I had surgery at Wonjin Plastic Surgery. That dramatic video-like feeling from the local anesthetic injection really made me think, so this must be what it feels like to be on drugs~ From outside, I could hear elegant singing (the song the director had put on), but in the video inside my head, something like colorful roller coasters was spinning round and round~~ and also dropping downward at high speed.. They said ptosis correction doesn’t go well if the eyes are completely closed, so they would put in anesthetic so I could wake up a little in the middle, not feel anything, and open and close my eyes as instructed. In reality, the anesthesia wore off in the middle too, the video became faint, and I could see the director and nurse. I had a strong burning sensation, it felt hot, and it hurt so, so much. Tears kept flowing, but I had heard the theory that if you cry, the double eyelids won’t turn out pretty, so I held it in, but I couldn’t completely stop the tears from flowing. For the double eyelid surgery, I was anesthetized, so I didn’t feel anything. The ptosis correction was what really hurt.
